More Motörhead Madness!

Lemmy and the Boys Go Latin!

The Kiss of Death CD booklet features the following Latin phrase splashed across several of its pages:

"NATI VT VICTI, OMNES MORITVRI
NEMIMI CREDE, AGE SOLVTE
AMBVLARE PER PLVRIMARVM ANIMARVM OCEANVM PEDES VIX MADEFACIT
QVODCVMQVE FACIS, NOS PRIMI, ET MELIVS, FECIMVS"

Are they any Latinists out there who can translate? While I can recognize some of the individual words, I can't piece it all together into anything coherent.

Sorry, I can't help you there. I never learned Latin, and barely learned the basics of Spanish. Anyone? Anyone?

Bueller?

It says:

"Doctor Rock is going to shoot you full of Rock N Roll"

PS: That's an actual lyric from the record! Gotta love Lemmy

Hello folks,

I've got a translation for the latin citations in the book of the last Motorhead's LP:

"Born as conquered, all will die.
Believe in no-one (This should be nemini ?), go freely
to walk through the ocean of very many souls, he barely wets his feet.
Whatever you are doing, we have done first and better."

I hope you'll statisfied with this translation...

Have fun, and rock too !
